PIPS Suicide Ireland Charity provides support to individuals who are considering, or who have at some point considered, ending their own lives. PIPS also provide support to those families & friends who have been touched by suicide. We deliver suicide prevention and bereavement support services, 1 to 1 counselling, befriending services, advocacy support and complimentary therapies and our client-led ‘no appointment needed’ service.
This ‘no appointment needed’ approach ensures there is always someone to contact for a chat when a person might feel vulnerable, might be at risk of suicidal behaviours or is simply in need of assistance. We also provide a range of bespoke training programmes. PIPS is their light in the dark.

Listening Ear seen the need to help support ordinary people to make vital interventions in people’s lives, especially when it came to poor states of mind and or mental health problems. A need for Peer lead support was and still is needed in society.
Today, Listening Ear has trained and supported over 100 local people who are there to listen in their community, schools and workplaces. Listening Ear is also supporting people with debt, benefits and employability, as well as providing a valuable social network day and daily, just to get people talking and sharing.
