Centrum ter Preventie van Zelfdoding and The Centre de Prevention de suicide
Centrum ter Preventie van Zelfdoding is a non-profit organisation with the basic objective of preventing suicide. We have been doing this since 1979. The CPZ operates from three services that are interconnected and complement each other: The Suicide Line 1813, the Formation Service and the Study Service.
Centre de Prévention du Suicide (CPS), established in 1970, is a suicide prevention crisis centre for French-speaking people in Belgium. The CPS also provides professional counselling for people (individuals, families and groups) at risk of suicide and people grieving after the suicide of a loved one.
