DARKNESS INTO LIGHT IN MEMORY OF RORY KERINS
This Year marks a very special year for us for Darkness into Light.
Not only will be be walking in memory of our gorge Rory on Saturday, 9th of May in both Cork and London, but the incredible Polly Cocker will also be running the London City Marathon in his memory on Sunday 26th April!!
This year marks the 10 year anniversary of Rory’s passing, and our 10th year of walking Darkness into Light (our first year of running !! Go Pol!!)
Every year we are completely blown away by the solidarity, kindness and generosity shown by you all and we can see how clearly this affects so many people and so many loved ones.
We’re walking (and running!) to show support for those who are struggling right now, to remember Rory and the light he brought to our lives.
We walk to help ensure Pieta can continue to be there for people when they need support most.
Every step we take is for someone who may feel unseen, unheard, or overwhelmed. It’s our way of saying, “You are not alone. Help is available. There is always light, even when it’s hard to see it.”
If you’re in a position to support our walk, please know that every single euro helps Pieta continue to answer the call and guide people towards hope at some of the darkest moments of their lives.
