Berkshire Hathaway Lunchtime Walk – Darkness Into Light
Berkshire Hathaway teammates will be coming together on Wednesday 6 May at 12.30pm to take part in a lunchtime walk in support of Darkness Into Light, raising vital funds for Pieta House.
This walk is part of our collective effort to stand in solidarity with those impacted by mental health challenges and suicide, and to support the life‑saving services Pieta House provides across Ireland.
Why We’re Walking
Darkness Into Light represents hope — the journey from despair into hope, and from crisis into recovery. Every step we take is a reminder that no one should face mental health struggles alone. Pieta House offers free, professional and confidential services to people in suicidal distress, those who engage in self‑harm, and to families bereaved by suicide. Their work is compassionate, inclusive, and available to all who need support, regardless of circumstance.

As teammates, we believe it’s important to support mental wellbeing in our workplace and communities, reduce stigma around mental health and suicide show compassion, care and solidarity through meaningful action
This lunchtime walk is a simple but powerful way for us to come together, support one another, and contribute to a cause that truly saves lives.
