Please support my Darkness Into Light fundraiser at Boglands Hedge School, Walsh Island, Offaly
You are warmly invited to join us for a special fundraising walk in support of Darkness Into Light at Boglands Hedge School.
Together, we will walk as the sun rises—moving from darkness into light—standing in solidarity with those affected by suicide and self-harm, and helping to bring hope to those who need it most.
📍 Meeting Point: Entrance to Boglands Hedge School

🌅 Time: Beginning at sunrise 4.15am
Walk Route:
We will gather at the entrance to Boglands Hedge School before setting off together. Turning right from Boglands Hedge School, we will walk towards the entrance of Bord na Móna. Turning right at the entrance, we will then walk along the public road at Bord na Mona where, at the top, we will stop and pause for a moment of silence in remembrance of all those affected by suicide.
We will then turn and walk back down the Bord na Mona road towards the main road, turning left to return to Boglands Hedge School, where we can enjoy a coffe/tea and light morning snack.
This meaningful walk is a chance to come together as a community, reflect, and make a real difference. Whether you walk in memory, in support, or simply to be part of something powerful, your presence matters.
