Coffee Brothers walk for Mark

Take Part Your Own Way organised by Adrian Twomey

Our fundraising will help Pieta provide

503 helpline hours

134 crisis counselling sessions

60 therapy sessions

Please support my Darkness Into Light fundraiser.

We are taking part in Darkness Into Light 2026 to support Pieta and bring hope to people affected by suicide and self-harm. We are hoping to honour our brother Mark who we lost to suicide in November 2025. He was a strong supporter of darkness into light and we know he would love that people are walking and talking together on this morning in particular. At 445am on May 9th we will walk from our coffee truck on the western road to the end of the Lee fields and back again in time for sunrise and  teas/coffees and cakes to finish. Everything we can make for May 9th will be going to support Pieta. The system doesnt do enough we all know that but we have to start by having more conversations with those that love us and show up for ourselves daily.

Every day, people find themselves in moments of deep distress. They feel overwhelmed, isolated, or unsure where to turn. Pieta is there for them, offering free, professional support at a time when it matters most.

Events like Darkness Into Light are vital. Around 80% of Pieta’s funding comes from public fundraising, including this event, proudly supported by Electric Ireland. This fundraising helps keep Pieta’s suicide and self-harm prevention services free and accessible for anyone who needs them, anywhere in Ireland.

By donating to our fundraiser, you are helping to ensure that someone in crisis can reach a trained therapist, be listened to, and feel less alone in that moment.

A €24 donation could help answer two calls to Pieta's 24-hour Crisis Helpline, moments that can make a real difference and even save lives.

Thank you so much for supporting me and for helping Pieta continue this life-saving work.
