Please support Allenwood GAA's Darkness Into Light fundraiser.
On May 9th, 2026, Allenwood GAA will proudly take part in Darkness Into Light in support of Pieta House, walking together in solidarity, hope, and community.
As the sun rises, our club members, families, friends, and supporters will complete a 5km route around Allenwood GAA grounds. This walk represents more than just distance — it symbolises moving from darkness into light, from struggle into hope, and from silence into conversation.
We walk side by side with those who have been affected by mental health challenges. We walk for those who may be struggling quietly. We walk in memory of loved ones. And we walk to remind everyone in our community that no one has to face difficult times alone.
Community is at the heart of everything we do. This event is about coming together, supporting one another, and raising vital funds for Pieta House so they can continue providing free, professional support to people impacted by suicide and self-harm.
Mental health is not a stigma. It is part of being human. There is strength in speaking up, and there is always someone willing to listen.
We invite everyone — players, parents, supporters, neighbours, and friends — to join us for this meaningful morning.
