Every day, people find themselves in moments of deep distress. They feel overwhelmed, isolated, or unsure where to turn. Pieta is there for them, offering free, professional support at a time when it matters most.

Events like Darkness Into Light are vital. Around 80% of Pieta’s funding comes from public fundraising, including this event, proudly supported by Electric Ireland. This fundraising helps keep Pieta’s suicide and self-harm prevention services free and accessible for anyone who needs them, anywhere in Ireland.

By donating to my fundraiser, you are helping to ensure that someone in crisis can reach a trained therapist, be listened to, and feel less alone in this world , This year I’m taking part in Darkness Into Light in support of Pieta House 🤍

I’ll be walking in memory of my two cousins, Ross and Kevin, who we lost far too soon. Their loss has deeply affected me and my family, and it’s something that stays with us every day.

Mental health is something I take very seriously and hold close to my heart. Suicide has touched our lives in a way I wish no family had to experience. That’s why I want to do something meaningful — to raise awareness and funds that can help support those who are struggling and hopefully prevent other families from going through this kind of pain.
