Help me stand up against suicide and self-harm.

I'm taking part in Darkness Into Light 2024, proudly supported by Electric Ireland, on Saturday May 11th at 4.15am to raise vital funds for people affected by suicide and self-harm.

Pieta have partnered with like-minded charities in Northern Ireland to continue to help provide life-saving services for those who need it.

Thank you so much for your support.

⏰️ Meeting at 4:15 am to start walking at 4:30 am

📍Slieve Croob Mountain

The weather forecast is looking good, so we hope to have tea, coffee, bottled water, and snacks available around the picnic tables. Feel free to hang around and help yourself to refreshments.

We're looking forward to seeing everyone bright and early!

Darkness Into Light 2024

This will be our 4th year taking part in the Darkness into Light annual walk at Slieve Croob, Co Down. To date we have collectively raised over £3,300 and this year our chosen charity is Samaritans of Newry.

Every 10 seconds, Samaritans responds to a call for help.

We’re here, day or night, for anyone who’s struggling to cope, who needs someone to listen without judgement or pressure.

Samaritans is not only for the moment of crisis, we’re taking action to prevent the crisis.

We give people ways to cope and the skills to be there for others. And we encourage, promote and celebrate those moments of connection between people that can save lives.

We offer listening and support to people and communities in times of need.
