Gonzaga First Year Football Tournament

Take Part Your Own Way organised by Ciarán O' Neill

Our fundraising will help Pieta provide

151 helpline hours

40 crisis counselling sessions

18 therapy sessions

Please support our Darkness Into Light fundraiser.

For Darkness Into Light 2026, myself (Ciarán O' Neill), Chris Dunne, and Cathal O' Regan are organising a first year football tournament. It will be held in our school, Gonzaga College, and all proceeds made are going directly towards Pieta.

Through this, we're hoping to spread awareness around mental health, and to create a fun day for all involved.

We're aiming to raise 2,000 euro for Pieta's lifesaving services, while also spreading a message of hope in the community.

One in every two adults in Ireland have battled with their mental health. We hope that, by spreading awareness and raising funds, we can let people know that no matter how overwhelmed they may feel, they are not alone.

It is charities like Pieta that support people who feel distressed, overwhelmed, or unsure where to turn. The free, life-saving services provided have saved countless lives, and will doubtless save many more.

A €24 donation could help answer two calls to Pieta's 24-hour Crisis Helpline, moments that can make a real difference and even save lives.

Thank you so much for supporting us and helping Pieta continue this life-saving work.
