Help Stop Suicide: Support My Darkness Into Light Walk

On May 10th before dawn, I'll join hundreds walking in DARKNESS INTO LIGHT LONDON to raise awareness and vital funds for suicide prevention and mental health support.

—

Each step we take honours those lost to suicide, those currently struggling, and those finding their way back to hope. This cause is deeply personal to me — and sadly relevant to too many, especially men who often suffer silently yet represent 75% of suicide deaths in the UK.

—

Your support directly funds life-saving services through Pieta, providing free professional therapy for those in suicidal crisis, and icap, delivering culturally sensitive mental health care to vulnerable communities across Britain.

—

This walk — and the help it enables — welcomes everyone, regardless of your background or who you walk for. Together, we move from darkness into light.

I'm aiming to raise enough to contribute to helplines, counselling sessions, and importantly, training programmes focused on preventative support rather than just crisis intervention. This approach helps identify and address issues before they reach critical stages.
