Support my walk to help stop suicide
On Saturday, 9th of May, I’ll be taking part in Darkness Into Light 2026. This year I am doing the Darkness Into Light walk in honour of my dad, who we sadly lost to suicide 13 years ago.
Losing someone to suicide leaves a pain and emptiness that never truly goes away. It affects families in ways people don’t always see, and there are still so many who struggle silently every single day.
Mental health battles can be invisible, and sometimes the people who seem the strongest are carrying the heaviest pain. If this walk helps even one person feel less alone, then it means something.
I’m doing this walk to remember my dad, to honour his memory, and to stand with every person and family affected by suicide and mental health struggles. Please always check in on the people you love, be kind, and never be afraid to ask for help.
