On Saturday, 9th of May, I’ll be taking part in Darkness Into Light 2026 - a walk that carries deep meaning for so many, and for me, something profoundly personal.
I’m walking in memory of a dear friend I lost to suicide. It’s a loss that never fully settles, one that stays with you in quiet ways and shapes how you see the world. Through this walk, I want to honour my special friend, Meghan Edmonds, and every life that has been lost too soon.
I’m also walking for those who are struggling right now - for anyone who feels unseen, unheard, or overwhelmed. Every step is a small act of hope, a reminder that even in the darkest moments, there is light to be found, and there are people who care deeply and want to help.
Pieta’s work is truly life-changing. They are there in the moments when it matters most, offering support, compassion, and a way forward when everything feels heavy. Supporting this walk means helping them continue to be that lifeline for so many.
