Support my walk to help stop suicide

On Saturday, 10th May,  I am taking part in Darkness into Light 2025, to raise vital funds for Pieta and people affected by suicide and self-harm.

I personally, have benefited from the free counselling service provided by Pieta House after the loss of my beloved Dad to suicide last October. At my lowest ebb, when I could see no light, the kind, empathetic and non- judgemental counsellor I spoke to, Dennis, helped me find a way out of the darkness.  I now want to support Pieta House in whatever way I can because I know first-hand the importance and necessity of the services they offer.

Darkness into Light  provides an opportunity for people to show hope and solidarity to those who have been impacted by suicide. Sunflowers, a symbol of  positivity and hope, were one of my dads favourite flowers and in my profile photo are the sunflowers my dad cultivated in my garden 2 years ago 🌻🌻.

I appreciate every donation, it means so much to me on a personal level, but more importantly, it is vital for Pieta’s life  saving services as they rely heavily on public funding.

Thank you. Sinead 🌟🌻
