I'm taking part in Darkness Into Light 2024, proudly supported by Electric Ireland, on Saturday May 11th at 4.15am to raise vital funds for people affected by suicide and self-harm.

Pieta have partnered with like-minded charities in Northern Ireland to continue to help provide life-saving services for those who need it.

As always I understand times are tight just now so any donations or shares are greatly appreciated.

I’m doing the walk in memory of Emmet, my baby brother. He was some guy - so kind caring and capable and loved more than he knew. He was also incredibly humble and would hate the fact I’m doing this for a second time and mentioning him. BUT that being said if I can raise awareness and support charities working to improve services and the lives of those impacted by suicidal thoughts then it’s worth it.

The walk itself is lovely - the symbolism of walking from darkness into the light is powerful and gives hope. If anyone wants to join me on May 11th I would welcome your company.
