Support my walk to help stop suicide

On Saturday, 9th of May, I’ll be taking part in Darkness Into Light 2026. This is a walk that holds deep meaning for so many people, myself included.

I’m walking to show support for those who are struggling right now, to honour those we’ve lost, and to help ensure Pieta can continue to be there for people when they need support most.

Every step I take is for someone who may feel unseen, unheard, or overwhelmed. It’s my way of saying, “You are not alone. Help is available. There is always light, even when it’s hard to see it.”

If you’re in a position to support my walk, please know that every single euro helps Pieta continue to answer the call and guide people towards hope at some of the darkest moments of their lives.

Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for being part of this and for supporting me along the way.

Walking for Hope: Our Journey in Cappamore for Pieta House

Community and hope are coming together this May. On Saturday, May 10th, the roads of Cappamore will fill with light. This year, my ten-year-old daughter and I are joining the Darkness into Light walk. We are walking to support Pieta House and the vital work they do across Ireland.
Pieta House provides a lifeline for those in crisis. They offer free, professional therapy for people experiencing suicidal ideation or self-harm. For a child of ten, seeing a community rally together for a cause like this is a powerful lesson in empathy. It shows her that even in the darkest hours, no one has to walk alone.
We are going to lace-up our trainers to help ensure these services remain free for everyone. Every step we take in the early morning mist of County Limerick helps fund suicide prevention and bereavement support. It is more than just a walk; it is a collective promise to look out for one another.
If you are in the area, please join us at the starting line. If you can’t make the walk, please consider donating to our page. Every Euro helps keep the lights on at Pieta House. Together, we can walk out of the darkness and into the light.
