The Ireland Funds China & The KELY Support Group
Our mission is to harness the power of a global philanthropic network of friends of Ireland to promote and support peace, culture, education and community development across the island of Ireland and among Irish communities around the world. At The Ireland Funds China, we are proud to be part of one of the largest private funding sources for innovative work across the island of Ireland.
The Ireland Funds China relies on donations from private individuals, corporations and other non-statutory sources. We host fundraising events, prize draws and auctions, from which all proceeds go towards executing our mission. We are grateful to all our donors and partners who have given generously.
"KELY Support Group’s mission since 1991 is to equip young people with the skills, knowledge, and opportunities needed to support themselves and each other, envisioning a world where they are empowered to reach their full potential. It mainly serves Chinese- and English-speaking youth between the ages of 14 and 24 in three core focus areas: Mental Health & Wellbeing, Drug and Alcohol Awareness, and Positive Youth Development.
Taking a preventative approach, its programs and services emphasize the importance of peer support. KELY believes that with good mental health, young people can thrive and be resilient against the challenges of modern society. Hence, the promotion and advancement of social and emotional learning are also key elements of its work.
